Do you have any questions, concerns, comments or critique about Autor? Do you want to get a hold of me for a plot? Then leave a comment here! I've struggled a lot with Autor in the past (hence the restart), and I feel very concerned with trying to make sure he's in character. I know I don't always succeed, so please do give me any feedback you can about how it's going!

Anonymous comments have been enabled. Comments here are currently unscreened so others can see if an issues' been addressed before--that might change later if it seems to cause problems (but I don't forsee it being a problem).

cut for video )

Oh, Rue...

((OOC: The video has spoilers for Tutu, just so you know. ...As if Autor isn't one big walking spoiler anyway. Not the best clip ever, but the relevant parts are 1:15-1:50 and 4:25-5:20 (particularly the last one). Sub. I wish it was the dub since I prefer Adam Conlon's performance in that particular scene, buuut youtube didn't have it.
I think I've done this memory once before on a curse day, but...he's in 5 episodes, soooo slim pickin's. XD; Plus, I think this is actually listed on TV Tropes' Crowning Moment of Heartwarming page (and it wasn't added by me!), so it's a pretty good candidate.
I didn't PLAN for most of my character's "heartwarming" memories to be depressing, it just sorta happened that way.))

...Doumeki, I think I have something that belongs to you. And why are all these lamps hanging so low?!

Hey, wait. My glasses are still here. You're going to need them, aren't you? Ugggh, I hate this curse.

((OOC: Bodyswapped with Doumeki! ...So much for getting this posted early. Oops. Sorry Nikki! >>;))

...They made it out, didn't they? I'm not sure exactly how they did it, but they did.

It's funny, I think they were my first friends here. I know they were the first people that talked to me after I lost my memory...it's been almost a year since then. Back home I didn't really need friends, I was happy just keeping to myself and my studies, but...now...

I think I'll miss them.

Well...I guess we'll just have to work hard on that way to go between worlds. If there's a way, I'll find it.

It figures. It figures I would get sick.

Ugh, who did I catch it from? I've barely went out recently! Probably someone at the library brought their disease and spread it all around the books. You should really not go out when you're sick, you know. You might subject all of us through the torture you go through!

It aches and I feel hot and cold and ick.

I guess I'll use this as an opportunity to catch up on my reading...

((OOC: I'm one of those people that likes to make her characters sick when she's sick. So here, have a grumpy, achy Autor! =D))

[Autor groans as sunlight begins to filter through the curtains, snuggling closer to the warm body next to him. He hates mornings, and he hates getting up early. Particularly when the sun seems so bright.

He snorts, dark thick hair tickling his nose. What a nice dream...he felt so safe. He didn't want it to end...but if he felt feeling like he was going to sneeze--

Wait.

He opens his eyes and frowns. A gently curving shoulder, graceful arms, dark curls, that undefinable fragrance...

He quickly sits up, eyes wide and face red.]

R-Rue? How--?! [clink, clink] H-handcuffs?

...Am I...losing my memory again? But...no, there's no way I could ever...right? Am I still dreaming?

((OOC: Backdated to earlier this morning--handcuff curse with Rue. XD Opera House, have yourself a very confused Autor.))

...I definitely recognize this outfit as Nanami's. So that means she's wearing my clothing today, too?

At least her outfit is comfortable even though it's obviously meant for a woman. I'll give you that. You have better taste in clothing than a lot of girls I've seen around here, Nanami.

But...what's this...thing that came with it? Some sort of weapon, I'd guess, but I don't know the first thing about how you'd use it.

((OOC: Wearing this. He got all the panic out of his system earlier in the day. XD))

Back Turned
It's starting to wear on my nerves. There's something in the back of my head that feels like it's...missing. There was something I had to do--something I had to say?--but every time I remember it it's gone before I can do anything about it.

Perhaps it wasn't that important if I really can't remember, but...if so, why does it bother me so much?

Maybe it was something at work. I forgot to add up something? I misplaced a receipt? That could be it.

((OOC: Definitely feeling the affects of rebelling against the Deities now. ...And a partial excuse for activity fail.))

This is...this is magnificent! [with a slightly disturbing laugh] I can do all sorts of things I've only dreamed of! Whoever's power this is...It's familiar, but if that's who it is, she's been hiding some of the things she can do from me. Tsk.

It's a shame this is only for a day...If only Father could see me now! But I'll make the most of it.

What else can I do? Time to experiment...

((OOC: Autor switched with Evangeline. And he's obviously enjoying it a little too much. XD He's frozen some of the water in the fountain for giggles, and he's probably going to wander off now to find someplace to practice his powers where there wouldn't be too much damage caused. He's not loopy enough to purposefully wound anyone...although he might occasionally freak out some random passing muggle for the lulz.))

My...my mother's earring? I thought I lost this when I came here! It fell out of my pocket and...I was so upset. It's my good-luck charm.

How did it get here?

This is impossible...!

((OOC: No Autor, it's a small miracle!
Also, he's cursed to spill secrets today. He just has no idea about it...yet.))

Surprised/Slightly Scared
[sigh] I wonder how much longer this will last? This seems too long to be a curse. I don't even know if this is something the deities have under control. This wasn't caused by a resident, was it?

I've been safe for now. Mostly locked up in my apartment. I don't know how long this will be a safe place, but it's he best I can do for now. At the very least, I don't think zombies have an easy time getting up stairs. I wonder if it'd be a good idea to disable the elevators...?

Um, Rue...I...heard the bad news. How is everyone? Are you doing alright? I know I don't know her that well, but--

[Autor is interrupted by a loud stomping noise, perhaps even a moan-y growl. He lets out a gasp and a few swears in German, as the sound gets just a bit louder and closer.]

What in--Who would allow a DRAGON to be infected by that virus?! Are they mad?

((OOC: Technically, it's a T-Rex, but Autor didn't get a real good look at it (just a view outside his apartment window) and his mind always jumps to fantasy-land. Dinosaurs are just so mundane.))

[Soon before midnight, a piece of paper is slipped under the door to Evangeline's apartment, followed by a quick knock. If the door is opened, no one appears to be there. The note reads as follows:]

Master Miss Evangeline:

You're a haughty, cruel teacher. ...But nevertheless, you're my teacher, and I suppose I'm learning some things. So thank you for taking me on as your student and at least pretending to care about my progress.

-Autor

((OOC: Nearly forgot I was going to do this! I'm assuming Autor's just been struggling with the curse for most of the day.

Obviously, the note is only viewable to Evangeline and her roommates. The strike is barely readable.))

HA!!

I bet you "fangirls" didn't expect me to wait until after midnight, did you? I stayed indoors and read ALL DAY once I heard all of that horrific squealing outside.

BUT NOW--I'm safe! I hope you all had fun avoiding questions about your measurements and past loves!

now, if you'll excuse me, I have information about a music festival to find.

((OOC: OBVIOUSLY, HE AND ISHIDA HAD THE SAME IDEA. Yeah, saw his post like, right before I went to post this. Oh well. I'm sticking with it.
RULES....you know, no rules with him. Anything goes. Have at 'em.))

Anything I said yesterday has absolutely no basis in fact. Disregard it immediately. As far as I'm concerned, it never happened.

That especially goes for you.

...But that does remind me, Evangeline, I have some news for you.

Now that I'm in my right mind...I've heard news of a music festival of some sort. Does anyone have any information on that?

I...I don't normally do something like this, but...

I think I'm in love with Evangeline! I can't stop thinking about her! She's on my mind every hour, every minute! Something about the way she bosses me around...it sends a chill up my spine every time she calls me "boy"!

I just had to say that for some reason.

((OOC: ...Is it true? Is it not? I'm not telling~

Either way he's going to be mad tomorrow.))

Thank goodness, my tea is back. My tea, and my research, and I can actually get to the library without getting turned around and ending up back at my apartment.

Ah--Research! That reminds me. Nill, were you able to find your friends? I was busy when you first arrived, and...well...my computer wouldn't even turn on yesterday. Because I would research, likely. Sorry I haven't been able to find them yet. And you found a place to stay, right?

Well...I suppose it's time to go back to practicing and research. And research and practicing and reading and research and...ticktockticktock...

This is sounding almost monotonous.

I never was much for holidays, honestly, but this one isn't all too bad. Some of the costumes can be a little silly, but with the right touch, it can be entertaining. And I've always enjoyed a good ghost story. My favorite is The Ghost Knight, by Drosselmeyer, of course.

I think I might go wandering around the Square to see everyone's costumes.

...Say, Miss Evangeline--what do you think?

((OOC: Autor decided to have a bit of fun at Evangeline's expense with his costume. He's dressed up as a vampire, complete with red contacts, fangs, top hat and a Japanese Aristocrat/"boystyle" inspired outfit. Yes, Autor has been doing some research on Evangeline's favorite style and thought it'd be fun to dress up in a related style.
And yes, he's wearing the contacts with his glasses--they're cosmetic only, not prescription. XD))

Well, that was...an interesting experience. If I'd known that her older form looked like THAT, then maybe I would've been a little more excited. ...And much more nervous. So, Miss Evangeline--did I pass that lesson?

What in the world is that game you're all playing? This is probably the most childish curse I've seen yet. Except for, perhaps, the one where we all tasted like ice cream. ...No, nevermind. This one is worse.

((OOC: Evangeline decided that Autor needs lessons in how to be sociable. So she forced him to take her out on a date yesterday. XD
Also, he's mildly affected--he's not jumping to play the game, but if someone asks him to join in, he will.))

Well...I think we've all settled down from the most recent curse. That's good.

It probably only means that another is coming, but hopefully the next one should be less stressful.

...Riou, Nanami, it was good to see you again.
Private to Evangeline )
Private to Rosette )

((OOC: Mood isn't viewable. I know I probably should've followed up with this a little better, but I'm assuming Autor went over to Riou and Nanami's tonight like he discussed with Nanami, right? Or not. XD Either/or, feel free to correct me.))
